Western Cape
The Western Cape Province is located in the southern part of South Africa. It is landmarked by Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, and the Cape of Good Hope, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.
The Western Cape, which is one of the world’s most popular travel destinations, extends 400 km northwards along the Atlantic coast and about 500 km eastwards along the Indian Ocean coast. It is bordered on the north by the Northern Cape and on the east by the Eastern Cape.
The Western Cape can be divided into the following regions:
• The Overberg
• The Garden Route
• The Little Karoo
• The Cape Karoo
The capital of the Western Cape is Cape Town and other major cities include Stellenbosch, Plettenberg Bay, Hermanus, Langebaan, Worcester, Paarl, George and Mossel Bay.
The Western Cape is a popular location in which to buy due to its diverse landscape, where buyers can select their property based on their preferred lifestyle. For example, one can live in the winelands, in the desert, between mountain ranges or under the foot of Table Mountain.
